| photography shop and bought the clamp. The top portion is just off of a cheap $14 tripod and gives it adjustability, screws right onto the top of the clamp. The clamp of course has an upper and lower "jaw". The lower is square shaped just like the bottom of the cargo cover, and the upper jaw is triangular shaped on the inside and hugs the curved topside of the cargo cover perfectly. I just tightened it until it looked like it was good and snug, mounted the camcorder on it and off I went. I honestly thought it wasnt going to give a stable shot for all the reasons nixit stated, but the footage turned out perfect. I'll email you a better picture of the mount later tonight with the clamp manufacturer name. The shop I bought it from just had it laying around and I asked them to sell it to me. So it may be hard to find the exact same one.
