I recently purchased a Stillen dual tip exhaust for my NA and I thought I should give you my input before you spend close to $1000 on it. I love the sound of the exhaust and it is exactly what I was looking for. However, I was severely disappointed in the overall quality of the exhaust. I feel that Stillen has lowered their quality standards in response to a demand of the "Stillen name" on the performance market. To start, the welds on the mufflers looked like crap. They looked like an amateaur welder did it as his first welding job. I have already noticed slight rust at the weld points which I have had to dremel off after only one (1) week on the car. Secondly, the muffler cans had large scratches from shipping. Obviously since I am into showing my car I tend to be very anal about it. Third, no bolts were included with the hardware which made me have to go out and look for new ones since the old ones were rusted. I have other Stillen products on my car which I am extremely happy with. I was under the impression that paying top dollar for a product returned quality merchandise. I guess I was wrong. After bringing my concerns to Stillen, I was told that I could send a the exhaust back so that they could repair the welds. This does me no good since I will be without an exhaust on my car why its getting repaired. This goes towards there customer service..which in my opinion sucks.Oh I purchased the exhaust through Phuong at GR Racing who supposedly talked to Stillen about my concerns. Even as a Stillen rep he got nowhere. Hope it helps... : I'm going to buy a new Stillenn exhaust system tonight, and am still trying to decide on which style to get. Any advice on the sound/performance differences would be a great help!
