Well it

Well it's a crappy day here, so I might as well fill the board with some pic whoring.

Here's a whole lot of before/after pics. Some things turned out great and others already need to be re-attempted.

New cowle grills and all new hardware:

------->

Had to do the hinge covers also:

------->

All new mouldings including nose panel moulding & t-top edges:
Funny thing was after replaced all the mouldings, grills, etc....the car seemed
to loose some of its character? oh well

------->

------->

New centercaps and lug nuts:

------->

It all started with one cracked wheel liner, then I really let my OCD get the best of me and replaced all the plastic on the front of the car along with all the hardware:

------->

Relocated the HID ballasts beind the facia, above the intercoolers:

------->

Replaced the stereo and boost control units:

------->

New sticker, yes OCD strikes again:

------->

New T-Top finsishers:

------->

Here's the hard & easy way to mount your boost control units:

I didn't realize the easy way until after I defaced my original din pocket, blank face has a part number of 68470-60M00

------->

I guess this one's not a before/after, but it's a good way to get all the air
out of your system, rig it up like the picture and attach
the hose to your overflow nipple. This let's you keep the rad cap in place and
build pressure in the system as all the air gets pushed out.

------->

Gotta keep that overflow clean:

------->

New & old  tranny mounts:

All new fuel hoses with a tee, for an electronic fuel pressure gauge:

------->

Repainted the timing belt covers with some special plastic paint:

------->

Ya I really like cleaning stuff:

------->

Painted the ends of my exhaust and tow hooks:

------->

Well, that's about half of it, but this took alot longer than I thought.
Don't worry this post is not a "scream for help". I just really like working on
the Z.

Here's some other general pics:
