Hello, my name is Chris Mundahl and although this is my first post I have been researching this forum for quite some time. I own a 91NA slicktop Z that I race at the local SCCA autocross events. I have been planning the TT swap for quite some time and just wanted to ask for opinions and suggestions before doing the swap. I already have a TT "front clip" that came with the tranny and harness but for some reason they didn't feel like shipping the intercoolers and piping. Anyways, the egr has been deleted and the engine has been cleaned but that is all I have done so far.
Here is a list of what I plan to do: Replace Rear Main Seal/Rear retainer gasket/Rear oil pan seal Replace everything in the 60k kit from Z1 Replace NA fuel pump with TT fuel pump AIV delete(What other systems should I delete?) Bypass coolant hoses beneath plenum Buy Ash's MASSIVE SMICs and 2.5" piping when its finished Buy Ash's Radiator/Electric fan kit when finished Ash's ECU (What are the advantages of the 16bit one?) Doolz intake Probably new motor and tranny mounts Boost gauge and hardware(Of course.) Some sort of EBC I already have: RPS MAXT clutch(What flywheel should I get?) Megan racing divorced downpipes and testpipes AMZ 1-piece driveshaft
After all this is put together I'm hoping to have a reliable Z that I can boost to 15psi on stock turbos. Any advice/opinions/recommendations on what I have and what I have left out for completing the swap would be greatly appreciated.
