Message	I would go that route. I don't think welding it would cause an imbalance issue of any magnitude. You could always have it rebalanced. Makes me wonder why they weld the steel ring gear to a bolt in a aluminum flywheel. Seems like the expanding and contracting of the two different metals would crack it, oh nevermind.
