But to be able to compare to new cars, which always cite flywheel HP, having an efficiency-corrected number is a good thing. You don't want to put too much stock into it, because people sometimes improve their efficiency (lightened flywheels for instance) and then still try to correct for that 17%. That's deceptive! But when done in good faith, and taken for what it is, I like having the corrected number.
He just used it in his screen name after all, and the number is within 5% or so of the truth. No need to break out the "CollegeBoy Brickbat".
