I borrowed a wheel lock remover tool set. With an air gun, I was able to get 4 locks off my OEM wheels in 30 minutes because I was taking my time. I could have also used a hammer and a lug wrench, but I had access to the air gun. It definitely deters theft, just like an alarm. I know some guys with 2 sets on their wheels. Its a PITA when removing them, but hey more deterring right? Of course then again, if the wheels are that expensive, there might be a thief who shares your passion for them, and happens to be turned on by the idea for a challenge. Coupled with a warn-away system, sensor mounted on the steering column, its the best you can do to deter wheel theft.
