| Okay, here's the deal. I've had Eibach springs and Stealin' slip-box adjustable front upper control arms and adjustabe tension rods on my Z forever. Once I finished my TT swap early this spring, I had my Z aligned again. The shop couldn't get the camber to come into stock specs; it stays more negative that the FSM/machine shows. That was with my adjustable arms maxed out. It was .1 or .2 more negative per side than I want. I think the problem may be that I have NA Eibach springs, and the extra weight of the turbos, intake plumbing, etc is causing my front end to sit a little lower than it did. I'm getting another alignment tomorrow or Saturday, and need to add a spacer behind my upper control arm mounting brackets to give me the extra length on the control arms I need. I've got plenty of scrap metal, but I'm not sure how thick I need them to be. Search seems to show that no-none will tell how thick the 300 Degree shims are. I don't need that much adjustment, so I don't really care how thick they are, I'd just like to know how much *I* need to buy me an extra .2+ camber with my setup. From what I can tell, I can fit an 1/8" spacer and still have enough thread engagment on the bracket mounting studs. That's the thickness I'll probably go with, because even if it's on the high side, I can always adjust my control arms length down some. Sure, I'd like to get some newer arms that have more adjustment range, but with the TT swap, new tires and some other toys this year, that isn't really an option. I'd do rear adjustable arms first anyway. Anyway, you don't have to tell me the 300 Degree thickness, but I'd appreciate it if someone who knows could tell me if 1/8" will buy me at least the .2+ camber I need. Thanks,
