okay, my names Justin, live in NYC, been a long time reader, first time poster. I love the 300zx, I love it so much I almost avoided buying one all together because I wouldn't be able to make it into what I want it to be as far as fully 100% clean and running perfect. But I stumbled at an opportunity today... I saw a black NA 300zx, 1995, 106k, 5spd, very clean interior and exterior, minor chips on the front hood, bose, little fading on the top of rear bumper.
I'm giong to test drive it in a few hours... the dealer wants 6500 for it, he said 6000 w/o 1 month warranty engine/transmission. I want to ask you guys for advice as far as what I should be asking the dealer and if it's a decent price... I've read the "What should I look for in a used Z" faq and besides those... what other bases should I cover? Is it a bad deal? Also, when I test drive it today, if there's anything wrong with it right away that I notice i'm not gonna purchase it, basically only if everything checks out good on it.
Also, how much would a shop cost for 120k maintenance? Thank you very much! ANY input would be very very much appreciated! Also if you have anymore questions about the car
