You forgot some other basic necessities, such as sway bars, 300° brake master cylinder brace, stainless brake lines, snow water injection, a Woody's or SilverTwin short shifter, new engine harness (can't remember if you did that with your motor swap, but that alone is close to $400), Mike Smith Manifolds and I could go on...

The point is: mod in stages. Take care of everything you need to do when you pull the motor for rebuild, and send the motor to Kyle at IPP. Then get your body stuff and get your Z to the body shop, and have it painted with the motor out. Then you get the motor back and you buy the drivetrain and suspension stuff. Then you button it all up, drive her for the first time, and make romance explosion in your pants.
