:Different fascia
:Different nose panel

:Desktop background

:I'm trying out a couple of slight changes to the Z. A local owner (tt.NET Got Z?) had recently relinquished hold of his white pearl A-spec fascia, and I decided to try it out on my car for a while.
:If anyone remembers, my type III lip was more necessary than contingent, as I needed something to camouflage the rectangular intercooler holes which were cut into my NA fascia. It grew on me over time, however I never really settled in to bonding with it for the long haul. There were several lingering angles at which it just didn't work for me.
:Having the chance to acquire a local, already painted (KH6 owners know what a pain it is to try and paint individual body parts) white pearl fascia at essentially no cost to me was too good of an opportunity to pass up. Not taking any chances, I’ve saved the old NA fascia + type III combo incase I ever decide to change it back.
:I’ve also had a 1990 white pearl nose panel sitting in my closet for quite some time now. I finally got around to installing it on the car. For my 22nd birthday, a friend of mine bought me the Z emblem you see in the pictures. However, she’s not really in to cars and didn’t pick up the “official” ’99 J-spec emblem. I was a little worried at first, but it turned out looking great, and I really appreciate the originality. I’m going to assume its some type of carbon fiber 350Z emblem. Again, I still have the hamburger panel incase I ever want to switch back.
:Here are some pictures from last night; unfortunately I don’t have any high-resolution versions. It was an impromptu shoot, and I didn’t have a tripod with me. In order to ensure capturing a few non-blurry photos I had to crank up the film speed. As a result the photos came out more grainy than I would have liked, and don’t look that great blown up.
:The last photo, though, is provided in high-resolution. I figured it might make a good desktop background.
:Enjoy!
