Message	Why not use the correct part? The correct valve will bottom out against the beveled surface on the end of the threads, placing the appropriate preload on the o-ring for sealing purposes. Using the incorrect valve will bottom out on the o-ring rather than a hard mechanical interface. This would be like using rubber washers on cylinder head bolts. How do you ensure the valve won't work it's way loose?
