| my car got broken into last night: 
luckily the only thing taken was a 20GB 4th Gen iPod. stupid me, i had it sitting on the passenger seat.
got home at 11p.m. my mom left for work at 6:30a.m. she said she saw my window "rolled down". so there was a nice 7.5 hour time frame for someone to commit a 10 second crime. i would consider my neighborhood "safe". i live in costa mesa in orange county and our block was voted "safest neighborhood" in 1988. it might be time to put up some camera's outside the house since my sister's car got egged a couple of times (as well as other cars down the main street) and i got a threatening note put on my car (probably for another black Z32 that sometimes shows up at a neighbor's house once in a blue moon). it all sounds like a bunch of punk kids with nothing better to do. a lot of people are telling me to sell my car because it's been nothing but "bad luck". i love it too much, though. 2001:
-friend ran into my car in a parking lot. my car was parked, no one was inside it. she sucks at driving.
2002:
-hit and run at OCC. my car was parked, no one was inside.
2003:
-girl runs a red light. clips my bumper as i go through the intersection. this eventually leads to a JSPEC bumper.
2004:
-hit and run at work. my car was parked, no one was inside. this leads me to shaving the bumper bracket on the JSPEC bumper.
2005:
-hit and run at my cousin's apartment complex. my car was parked, no one was inside. my uncle gets the license plate of the driver. the person was involved in an accident the night before, they had no car insurance.
-hit and run at school. four cars involved, i was in the front, 4th car wasn't paying attention. not much damage, 3rd person has no insurance so pays for all our damages.
2006:
-no accidents
2007:
-last week, someone leaves a tailgate or a giant piece of metal shrapnel on the freeway. no option but to run it over and lose paint on the bumper. you can see the damages in the pictures above.
-last night, the break-in. what do people think? cursed, bad luck, karma, gypsies?
