Message clamping force. If the clutch is rated at 600HP and I trust the
seller, why would I not think it would work. I have seen very few reviews of folks using the DXD clutches but all that I have seen are positive. Joe tells me that South Bend stands behind their parts. So again I wonder why I would not want to try it. I see lots of short answers but nobody telling me any facts. Clamping force is a function of PSI and friction coefficent. If the manufacturer used the same springs that were in the turbo clutch and since the NA friction surface is smaller the pounds per square inch of clamping force is higher than the turbo clutch. That is the principal that the 6 puck clutches use. Less surface area, high friction material and I high spring force.
Plus it will spool up faster.
Don't worry, if it doesn't work I will be honest and report back...
