| Message | ...much from it's original UI, etc.  I was scared to death when I heard Adobe bought Macromedia, as Adobe had a Flash competitor early on that was just fucking terrible.  I mean really, really bad. Flash is still evolving, the scripting language is now object oriented and is much, much more mature.  Dynamic and streaming video, dynamic loading of all sorts of file types, lots of new improvements.  The UI is still familiar, anyone familiar with MX or even earlier editions will feel "at home" in the newest iteration of Flash. MS is releasing a competing technology, Silverlight.  I haven't play with it at all, but a little competition will only serve to encourage Adobe to continue pushing Flash in the right direction.  Hopefully.
