im sorry the sarcasm was a bit weak in my post :P but to debate a bit, yes the vg30dett is larger displacement, no doubt about that...but doesn't it make you wonder why Toyota JSGTC would take the Supra and take the 2jze out of the car and run a 3s-gte instead and make ridiculous power? I for one would never do the swap, ever...but i would consider buying a MR2 Turbo for a project :D those things are friggin quick, a few bolt ons and it can run 11's easily (no i do not refer to Turbo's as a bolt on). but seriously, stop with the 4cyl swap...if anything swap to an 8cyl or the RB inline 6, those would make more sense than a dinky 4cyl that is known to have some problems with the heads when built up (i belive its the heads im kinda drunk to remember exactly). I personally would prefer to stick with the VG30DETT :P its all there, no mess to figure out how to swap it.
