yes i've spoken to Brett about the Richmond Gear box, but the Richmond Gear box is not bulletproof in itself and from the information i got it seems that you will need to buy a new richmond gear rod (i doubt you would find a used one easily to match the gear ratio), then you would have to install the input shaft yourself or source it to a shop to install it plus get a new driveshaft since it will have to be different in length. it definitely is not a cheap solution, (i wont disclose the price because prices are too rough now and can be fidgeted with group buys or something) but it IS a solution i must say. The cost can be justified in the fact that a new 97+ trans costs like $2000, after going through 2 transmissions (which im sure you can attest to because of the high HP/TQ) it kinda works out better. this DEFINITELY is not for those who just want a 6 spd but those who NEED a stronger trans.
