Message The deal with the rb26 is that it has a poor draining system of oil from the head to the pan. In other words at high rpm the oil starts to puddle in the head and can't drain fast enough.

This then leaves the oil pan starving for oil and eventually the oil pump starts sucking air.... Bearings then are oil starved, and at 8K rpm... that's not a good thing.

So, to combat this, I installed an oil restrictor which limits the amount of oil going to the head, and on top of that installed the drain which will help vastly in returning oil to the pan. So that problem is pretty much solved.
