Message your intended use. Do you want it to be "portable" or are you looking for a permanent installation? Do want to capture any additional signals in the datalog? Do you want to play back the datalog on the controller or on a laptop? Does it need to have an integrated display or will you be using a remote display?

Then there's the ongoing argument over free-air calibration. Innovate has it, others claim to auto-adjust for sensor degradation. I wanted the free-air calibration and I wanted portability so I purchased the LM-1. Which is "best" for you depends on you. I suggest reading up on ALL of the available options and make you own educated decision.

Place the sensor in the testpipe (or before the cat if you have cat pipes), not the downpipe. Wideband sensors do not like high temperatures (over 900°F). Place a bung in each testpipe so you can monitor each side by swapping the sensor back and forth.
