Message but im not talking about throttling it in a strait, i'm talking about actually putting your head and body to work and hitting a canyon or road course. personally a strait line proves more about power rather than skill. On the other hand coming into a turn at the right moment and angle, transfering weight and body more over onto the inside peg, looking through the turn and ignoring your instincts to look elsewhere, using your knees to stablize and hold you on the bike and relaxing your arms so all they really do is control throttle brake and clutch, riding the rear brake to hold that line while still holding the throttle open enough to not disturb the balance and coming on the throttle at the right point closest to the apex of a turn all in just a couple seconds is more of a rush and stature of skill than going fast in a strait line for 9 sec. Motorcycles come naturally with a small wheel base because they are meant to maneuver. it also helps that i only weigh about 145/150 :) i will also say that when i raced my friends 01 GXR liter bike with all the bolt ons possible on the freeway, he only stayed about 6 - 7 cars infront of me. though i do understand the need to just get on in on a strait, theres videos of me doing that too.
