I used Behr Concrete floor Primer Behr pre-mixed Garage Concrete Floor Epoxy. I cleaned it with the Behr Concrete cleaner/degreaser and Etching Acid (muratic Acid works also) I split the floor in 2 parts...because I had so much stuff in the garage at the time, I had to use 1/2 of it for storage so I could only do 1 side at a time..... They recommend 5-7 days off the floor, I stayed off it for 10 days (yup, kept the Z outside during that time) As for prepping, yes....it's all about the prep work. I spent about 10 hours cleaning/scrubbing the floor.... they say when you think you've done enough cleaning, do more.... then you need to use the specified primer for the system cause it helps the epoxy stick better....If you do this right, durability and hot tire pick won't be a major issue.... I have had this coating down for 1.5 months and none of my cars have lifted the paint at all... We did however park my GF's Xterra (with fresh tires) directly after a long trip from DC and left it there for 2-3 days and a little bit did pick up under 1 tire only, so there will be some cases where a touch up will be required (this is true on pretty much any epoxy floor).... but if you prep it right, it will only be minor...
