spend the xtra $ and have them heat cycled for you. Much more accurate than trying to do yourself, and they will last longer... They are kick but. If you've never used a racing compound before, get ready for some fun times! Tire pressures are KEY to their effectivness (any racing tire). For the Z you want them at ~ 38 lbs HOT. This means that you should start with a much lower pressure (like 30lbs cold). It all depends on the temp of the day/track, etc...
