I blew my turbos this week and want to open a discussion on what I should do.
Current upgrades 555cc injectors(had leaky injectors so just paid 100 extra and got 555cc, ashspec chip, apexi boost controller, single kn, underdrive pulley, lightened flywheel, greddy SP exhaustOption 1-get turbos rebuilt at Boost Planet(local subaru shop) to stock specs for $300 bucks for each turbo Option 2- get turbos rebuilt at Boost Planet and upgrade turbine wheel using stock housing cost 600+ for each turbo. Option 3 buy rebuilt turbos from z1 cost 1200 Option 4 buy sport 500s or z1 525s I cant see myself upgrading past 500hp. Since rebuilding the engine though I have been driving on smoking turbos so I have no idea what stock turbos can really do or do I. Do they boost the same until they go and then boost nothing?! MY Budget is up to 2000, I'm doing install myself but take into consideration I still have stock brakes and stock suspension
or with bigger turbos should I just run low boost until I even out the car. Here is the website to boost planet if interested. Thanks for input ahead of time
