Message	My NA Z failed emissions the first time because the shifter bracket was broken and the lady doing the test couldn't get it in gear. I explained to her that it was a simple problem and that all she needs to do is lift the shifter a little before putting it in gear, but she said that she can't pass the car the way it is. So as you said, failing emissions is nothing to worry about.
