| Converted my NA to TT back in February. I've been driving it on wastegate springs since then, and thought it was pretty damn quick; especially compared to my Z NA powered. Could spin the tires with the gas in 1st easily at upper rpms, and also at the top of 2nd at WOT. 3rd was OK but nothing special, and 4th and 5th, well it was faster than it was NA, but nothing to write home about. I put in my GReddy Profec B on Saturday. Warmed her up and took a quick drive down the interstate and made maybe 2 or 3 pulls 50-75 ish each to set low boost at 10-ish and high boost at 15-ish. Didn't try to get it dialed in to a gnat's ass, just wanted it ballpark. It doesn't really spike, but I could probably turn up the sensitivity to make it hit peak boost a bit quicker. That was all I drove it really, and only to maybe 5,500 rpms if that. I spent the rest of the day removing my old tint. Yesterday we went to a friend's house at the beach we didn't get home till later, so I didn't drive the Z again. I spent most of today getting the rest of my tint off, then detailing the interior and washing the outside (just clayed/polished/glazed/waxed her last weekend, so she's still looking great). Just after sunset I decided to take her for a spin with the tops out, looking great inside and out. Warmed her up good and did some boosting @ 10 psi. Niiice :-) Flipped it to 15 psi and did a little pull again. Sweeet :-) Then just cruised at 65 mph with the windows down and the tops off in the 85 degree evening. Perfect. Fast, but not crazy fast like I remember driving a stage V Z with T28's @ 17psi, 555's, intake, exhaust, ECU, 6-puck back in TX in maybe '99 or '00. Mind you I was only taking my Z to maybe 5,500 or 6K rpm..... Got into a tunnel on the interstate and thought "Let's see how this things sounds when I wind if out in this tunnel." Double-clutch rev-match from 4th to 2nd at about 40 mph @ 4000 rpm and go WOT at 15psi, holding to fuel cut in 2nd and a fast shift to 3rd and stay WOT through most of 3rd gear. HOLLLY CRAAAPP!!!!! Damn this thing is fast! I still have a big shit-eating grin on my face, lol :-) That's more like what I remember in that stage V Z, haha. Damn, bigger turbos, intercoolers and injectors and more boost must be INSANE. How the hell do you guys keep your licenses? I'm hopefully going to dyno next week sometime, and after that I think I may pull the Profec out of the Z, lol. Unless I can show enough restraint to keep it at 10 psi or less all the time.
