Since getting my 94TT out of safety boost about a month ago, and with my new Specialty-Z down pipes, test pipes, X pipe, etc. exhaust system recently installed, I've been enjoying the increased boost!
With about 4 full tanks of 91 octane purchased locally I did not have any problems with detonation. However, I purchased a full tank last week from BP (the same Company that have been getting all of the bad press lately) in Norfolk, NE and I detected detonation at higher boost levels (can hear it). I ran that BP gas out this weekend and refilled with another brand of 91 octane...detonation gone. I plan to give the BP Station a call and discuss it.
