| look in the Oak Park/Berwyn area. When I was there, I remember seeing a lot of small mechanic shop clusters. 540 bucks seems like a gas station service price. I have been quoted 450 for labor from a crazy shop, and I live in NYC. So yeah, you're getting jipped. Everything you mentioned (except for the tranny mounts) getting installed is very standard. You should also do your RMS. If you don't know by now, once the tranny is down EVERYTHING is pretty much just slide it in there. The whole charge is actually just getting the tranny down, which is itself is pathetically easy, its just the weight that is "daunting". To see for yourself, just try and hang out wherever you wind up getting it done. You'll laugh when you see how easy it is. cliffnotes : def shop around more. Its hard to fuck up a clutch job, its huge parts that have cookie cutter openings to match to...and you have the alignment tool in the box for christs sake. nothing really that needs to be "fine tuned". The only thing that can really go wrong that a real dumass would mess up is maybe with your shifter position. serious. Good luck
