| Hello all. I've been looking around for a new Z for a few months now. This one showed up in autotrader a week or so ago and I proceeded to email the owner asking about it. It seems like its in good condition exterior-wise. It is all VERY ricey which I don't like, but I think that for the price its a good deal (I could always sell the stuff). I can't remember the mileage because the owner took the ad off autotrader shortly after I emailed him (kinda strange?). The Z is a 1995 located in FL. He only wants $9000 for it and wants to sell quickly. It seems like a deal too good to be true because it seems that he has quite a bit invested in the car in regards to the interior (which is a bit too much for me though), a wide-body kit I think and other things. The part that's rather peculiar is this part of his email: "The car will be shipped from Miami, Florida. The transaction will be done through AutoTrader & YahooAutos for our own protection. Your funds will be insured by AutoTrader & YahooAutos until you will receive and inspect the car and I will be sure that I will receive the payment. If you wish to proceed, please provide me your details (full name, shipping address and phone number) so I can start the transaction through AutoTrader &YahooAutos. They will contact you right after, with all the instructions to follow before you make any decision". I emailed him back asking him some more questions and said I was a little bit hesitant because I've never heard of this procedure before. He responded with: "you will see the car and test the car before you make any decision in buying so there is nothing to be hesitating about". Maybe this is common practice; I dunno.Usually when things seem too good to be true they really are, but I just wanted to see what you all thought about this. I could always carfax it.
