Message I've been searching for that Z that is in pristine condition. My friend/ mechanic came down with me to see a Z (1995 5 Sp white TT 48K miles). My mechanic noticed and pointed out a few things that made him believe that the car had a paint job.
Second, he believed that the car was not well kept contrary to the advertisement's claim of "mint". I am in complete agreement with him.

1) pictures of the door hinges.

2) It seemed that there was some paint or lubricant on the seals around the hinges. Also pictures of the locking metal ring on the b-pillar.

3) the front fascia seemed to have filler on the edge where it meets with the headlamps. Does anyone have closeups on the front fascia?

My mechanic noticed that the oil engine cap had a broken tooth on its knob.
He told me that the battery was the cheapest one used.
According to him, anyone who truly took care of their car would not allow these little things to happen to their car.

Lastly I noticed that the plastic housing that hold the locking mechanism for the t-top windows and the power windows is loose. Is this normal for a car like this?

I thank you all in advance!
