Subject	I learned some new racing lingo last night!>>>

Message	A friend of mine called me and wanted to know if I wanted to go out to Rankin, a place where people race and the cops dont care (they'll occasionally drive through to break it up but no tickets). I get out there and after a bit of running around and being chased off by cops once we finally find a place where people were actually getting races in. Some guy in a turbo civic wanted to run me heads up for money but I was only out there for fun. :( But my friend ponied up $20 and all of a sudden he wanted a 'move'. By the context I can only assume he meant a head start. :) He also wanted to know if I had 'gas'. In my head I thought "Yeah, I have about 1/4 tank" but then I realized he meant nitrous! :) Anyway, to make a long story short I never got to race this guy so I raced my friend instead. He's got a turbo 240SX (KA24 motor for those curious) and he got the jump on me but I was able to reel him in pretty good. Oh yeah, I asked someone to see if this Corvette would race me but he would only race for money. What happened to racing for fun? I wasnt too happy about the scene overall so my friend and I left. On the way home, though, I ran across an LS1 Z28 and pulled on him pretty good. My car felt strong enough that I was able to let off a bit to let him catch up then get back on it again and pull on him again.
