It'll still be sluggish off the line. The problem is that the stall on the stock auto tranny torque converter is around 2300 rpms. That's the highest you're gonna be able to launch without spinning the rear wheels. But that's well below full boost. Full boost is gonna be around 3500 rpms. If you launch @ 2000 rpms, you're waiting 1500 rpms to build boost. During that time, you are not gonna get tire spin off the line. The answer is Level 10's([ www.levelten.com ]) billet torque converter upgrade w/ a 3000 rpm stall. A very aggressive launch. Instant power and more power to the rear wheels.
