Message the race gas in there with a conservative tune, you are not pushing the limits. You say you run 470whp on 110 race gas, so do you run the 110 all the time (curiousity)?

The other thing you need to keep in mind is that *most* with built motors are pushing their cars either at the strip or the track, so they see more abuse, and therefore more wear, regardless. Lastly, there are a lot of variables in this discussion: choice of components for longevity (wider bearings and/or bearing material, as examples), engine builder history with VG, plus the factors you mentioned. Until Kyle made the post yesterday about a customer (or him?) with a 70k+ mile built-motor, I didn't know anyone with more than 20k or so miles on theirs. With proper precautions (namely tune and oil starvation issues), I expect mine to last until I can afford to gut and beat on a stock C9 Z06. Spec Z06 racing will be tits.
