| Message | all the homework when it comes to oil viscosity in our tight-tolerance engines.  Running something other than what is specified in the FSM and owners manual is not a good idea - oil weight is a factor of bearing tolerances, pump throughput, normal operating oil temps, etc.  Using something other than what is specified in the manuals isn't going to provide the balance of flow to oil shear resistance required for a reasonable service life.
