Message	: Normally I wouldn't really consider Pioneer, I've been planning on the new Kenwood media system. But, I can get Pioneer products at a pretty good price. They have a couple media systems and I was hoping someone would know if I'll be greatly disappointed when comparing it to a comparable Kenwood media system. i've never been a fan of pioneer anything. usually, they are crap. specifically, back in the day, the displays were known to go out all the time (car/home audio). however, I was able to get a $700 CD player for the jeep for $200.00 brand new from best buy. damn thing works like a champ. It's skipped twice in 5 years+. Once when I hit a gaurd rail. the other when I dropped off a Curb...but the curb was 12" high...oops... on a scale of 1 to 10 for a repurchase: 7 (better than good). But it all depends on aesthetics. If it's ugly, i wont get one. beer
