Like I said it was the ball bearing specific restricter bolt. I know there posts about the HKS GT2530 turbo set having something similar. I also remember a post about Sebs car having this problem and when the new fittings were put in it went away. Don't know if that was just a smoke problem or if it was a low boost output as well.
