or forclosure/auction, etc..... The benefit is someone else pays the mortgage, you make $50 or whatever in profit and the price increase due to improvements and value appreciates over time. I'm bringing in $55 on one rental and more on others, Happy with what I have since it has been rented for 3 plus years, and vacant only 4 months/remodeling since purchased. Takes time as you know. Big money in multiplexes, bigger hassles too, all part of the biz.
