| You said "offset has nothing to do with caliper clearance." In a given wheel, the offset can be the difference whether a wheel will fit over a caliper or not. In my photo, it is clear that any more offset and the caliper will hit. Adding a spacer to decrease the offset leaves plenty more clearance. You've been spending too much time with collegeboy.
