1) you do know that you are suppose to test the fan clutch with that "spinning method" after the car is warmed up? 2) you do also know that the stock temp gauge isnt linear? meaning, you could still be at like 215 degrees and it not move from the middle? then when you get to like 225, it could spike up? (it happened to me) while you may have solved your issue, it wouldnt hurt to run datascan on your car and see what the actual temp is while driving...just to be safe
