through a bad seal or cracked water jacket. See if its steamy and if water is dripping out of your tailpipes. Its only a problem on your drivers side the reason its coming out your passenger side too is because there is a balance tube called a H pipe or X pipe that links the drivers and passengers exhaust tubes togeter to balance the flow, some of the smoke is going through the tube to the other side, so whatever your problem is it is probably only on the drivers side. If you can give me a better description of the smoke, dont leave out any details. I can probly give you a better diagnosos.
