| From a design standpoint, the Nismo edition contains unrefined surfaces, aspect ratios, and flow discontinuities that peg it as project that did not originate from the design team. The group who developed the original body panel surfacing could not have created this without being pressured to do so. Consider this scenario... A powerful member of management gets an idea for a product, against the will/advice of the design team. He/she uses company resources to bring it to fruition, sidestepping the usual process of design reviews and astetic refinement. The idea is released as unchanged as possible to preserve that "freshness" as percieved in some marketing meeting...
