:Step 36. in the instructions talks about removing the water hardline and replacing it with either a soft line or new custom bent hardline.
:This is necessary on the non turbo? What hose do you guys recommend for this and is this a pain in the ass or do you just shove some hose on there?Not sure on the NA, but on the TT, the small diameter
hard water line interferes with the installation of the AN
style fittings (very slightly).
I believe most people are cutting the tab(s) that hold the
water line in place with a dremel, and then slightly
'tweaking' the line out of the way. It doesn't take much,
so damage to the line is not an issue.
When you pre-fit the system, you'll see it. I believe that on our original developmental car(s), we
didn't have this problem. I think the intereference varies
from car to car, but none have been severe.
