I bought my Z last May 2006 in Florida and brought her to CT with a temp registration and plates. the Z sat in my garage until last fall and then I moved back home. now I am ready to register the Z and the title and bill of sale are nowhere to be found after hours of searching. I contacted the guy who I bought it from who was actually selling it for his friend who was out of town at the time (title was already signed whenn I got there). anyway, I have contacted him 5 times in the past 6 weeks and says he told the owner he needs to get a duplicate title and resign it over and mail to me. seems lik he's really taking his time even with my $200 offering. what if something goes wrong. is there anything I can do or am I at the mercy of this guy? also he has a heavy polish accent so a bit of a language barrier. any comments? sucks. I really want to order the $6k worth of parts for my turbo swap etc. but fear not receiving the title
