Message and usually dont prep it very well. I think on my old greddy manis they didn't even use filler rod. Look at any of the full-race supra, skyline, or k series manifolds, all have really long runners and for the most part a turbo that weighs close to 40 pounds on it and never a crack. Alot of other cars use tubular stainless manifolds, some crack(the crappy kind) and others don't(the good kind). Like I said in my last post, we had a guy send us a mani back because he was in an accident and the whole mani was bent. We did not find a single crack in it, we re-decked it, I think tried to bend it back as best we could but not sure, and sent it back to the guy.
