| HKS EVC V: I loved it. Easy to use and setup and held boost solidly like a champ. The best things are that it constantly displays BOTH peak boost and current boost/vacuum at the same time (no need to press any buttons) and there is a pressure sensor with the boost solenoid. Problem (1): the display is tough to read when you're driving and boosting. Problem (2): the solenoid can't be replaced from HKS anymore. HKS has moved on to the EVC VI and no longer make the solenoid. The solenoid has the pressure sensor and almost all of the electronics inside of it. My solenoid died after 3 months of water injection. This was my fault, bad location of the water injection nozzles and too high of a setting. AEM Tru Boost: It had too much boost spiking because there is no GAIN setting. This wouldn't be much for a single turbo setup with a short line running to the wastegate. Greddy Profec B Spec II: I think this boost controller is perfect. It's affordable and gets the job done. The only downside is running a vacuum/boost line directly to the controller. The solenoids are easily replaceable: easy to find and relatively "cheap". If I was going to do it again, I would've just gotten the Profec B.
If you want a newer more expensive boost controller that does everything, I would get the Blitz SBC iColor over the HKS EVC VI.
