I had a Meade LX200 Schmidt-Cassegrain 10". Superb optics, electronic skewing, the whole nine yards. It was a beautiful instrument, and I was very satisfied with it's quality and ability to grab light, but it also weighed in at about 90lbs. I got tired of lugging it outside, setting it up, and then having clouds roll in just when I was ready to use it. =( The thing cost around $2500 new, but I had all the eyepieces, filters, etc. to go with it, so I ended up sinking around $4000 into it. I sold it about a year later for $3000. I want to get into it again, but I need a smaller scope this time around! LOL Brent 91 300ZX Twin Turbo 93 MR2 Turbo
