it all started the summer 2002. I was 21 and was having problems making my 96 honda prelude go any faster for cheap and ended up throwing a piston and the bottom of the rod came off the crank shaft and made a hole in the side of the block. so I need a new car and wanted a car the I could make faster without putting the engine to the limit. so I was torn between rx-7, vr-4, supra, and 300zx. the rx-7 is a good car but it is to little. vr-4 was my dream car when a was 13 but I was afraid to buy a car from a company that always looks like it is going out of business. supra great car but don't like the front and after the fast and furious the price got crazy. so then my only left with Z. I just got a new camera so, I got a friend at work that had a Z tt and had him bring it over to another friends house, who just got a ford lighting stock (car and driver say they run like 13.8-14) he was talking a lot. so we rent a raced at this spot we found by a factory and I drove the Z TT( cat back exhaust) the owner in the car with the camera. 123 go and stayed with him in first and slowly pulled in 2nd and 3rd but only won by 3 feet or so but I was the first one to beet him. 3 weeks later he become a local legend on the internet and started to see a lot more lightings around now he runs 11.3 and 4 months after that I found my Z in Orlando 1990 red twin turbo manual the only way a sports car should be jk. then the friend from work told me about this place and now this is the only Z forum site I use.
