Message Well it's a bit late but since no one else seems to have taken pictures of the nice Zs that were at the Golden Garden wrecking yard I'll have to put mine up. It was a pretty big meet, a couple hundred cars showed up and filled the whole park. Most of it was crap, mainly 240SXs in various states of destruction but there were a decent number of nice cars if you wandered around a bit.

Don't know who this is but the white with bronze wheels looked good.

Nice old Z, one of a few that showed up.

TT.net member Schuss's Z, looks even better in person than in pictures, no small feat.

This car was amazing.

That's my attempt at an artistic photo, would have been easier with out that gangly ass G35 in the way.

This guy wins the award for most anal retentive detailer. But his paint was immaculate so I can't fault him too much.

Some how this body kit manages to look even worse in person.

One of the few Z31s that showed.

Green Z is mine and the red Z is TT.net member 91Z32TT.

And of course, the sweetest ride there.

The stickers? Previous owner. Why haven't I taken them off? Dunno, lazy?

At first the Zs were kind of scattered but as the day went on we managed to get a small Z32 section together.

TT.net member Prelewd's Z and my Z.

The graphics package actually looks pretty good in person.

And of course, the famous POS in Blue. You might think that damage like that would only be shown in public if it happened on the way to the meet or something but this car showed up last year looking exactly the same.

There were a number of R32s and an R33 that showed up.

Picture doesn't capture the nice tint the paint on this S14 has.

This actually looked kind of good.

This thing kicks ass. It's been posted on here before, a VG powered 510.

Fairly nice S15 or S14-->S15 conversion (I forget) with a sweet V mount setup.

I don't know how else to describe this other than "Win".

The only RB swapped 240 I saw

More awesome.

Some of the few nice 240SXs there.

Owner is female, that might explain it but does not excuse it. Cars != Pink.

Z wheels seemed to be popular. Amazingly, they were all mounted correctly.

And of course sticking with this years theme of "Body damage and tasteless aftermarket panels".

Massive tow hook? So when you "drift" off the road the tow truck has an easier time getting out of the woods?

If it rots, tape it.

Mismatched wheels were also a popular trend.

Brillant.

This actually isn't too bad, at least they went with one full kit rather than cut and paste from several.

I was going to start a contest for "Least needed wing" but there were too many that qualified.

I have no idea what this is about but they were everywhere.

Great place for that.

Random funny stuff:

Showed up early and spent the first hour with Schuss and his friends heckling the cars as they came in. There was a steep hill with a hair pin corner and not 30 seconds after I said "What do you want to bet some idiot is going to wreck trying to drift around that corner" some idiot spun out trying to drift around the corner.

Comment from a random middle age-ish woman passing by: "What a piece of shit car show."

Two of the Skylines having a backfire contest trying to spit flames for the cameras.

The two "models" walking around that had more paint and aftermarket body panels then some of the cars.

1989 240SX Fastback. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 1995 300ZX Twin Turbo

Warning: Objects in mirror aren't as fast as they thought they were.
