If you placed your amp right in that little tray in between the driver and passenger seats, you placed it right above your fuel pumps. My friend that's helping in my stereo install said they put out alot of electical interferece and we need to shield agaist that. So, here's what sounds crazy to me because I don't know any better, he told me to get a piece of cardboard that would fit under that tray and above the fuel pumps, wrap it with an entire roll of tin foil, cover the foil with a brown paper bag (so the tin foil won't be conductive), and then seal that paper bag with some duct tape. That little creation when placed in between the fuel pumps and the amp will be a shield against the electrical interference. Hey, it was cheap to do and just might do the trick! Rob
