sort of stuff out? Fact is that older, especially older performance cars, are for mechanics because their market value does not deserve the labor costs. I am doing such a job (cylinder head gasket replacement) on my former DD Honda. Pain-in-the-ass job on an overhead cam car but not impossible and you do not need the motor out. You can have those heads out of there in a weekend. Clean them out with a scotchbright rotating pad to avoid machine shop beadblasting costs. Buy, borrow or rent a valve spring tool and remove the valves and hand lap them and install new stem seals. You can do the whole thing for $200. Call me I'll guide you through it.
