Message Anything on a production car will be a composite of carbon
fibers, glass fibers, polymer fibers, or a combination of
these.

Wet and dry (prepreg) layups are completely irrelevent.
Wet layup (all the ricer parts you see everywhere) is just
overloaded with resins.
Prepreg is pre-impregnated with the perfect amount of resin,
such that the weight savings and strength are at their
maximum.
